7 Bathrooms We Love 2021

7 Bathrooms We Love 2021 - Armac Martin

A place to relax and unwind, indulge your senses and relish in some self-care, your bathroom design should reflect your individual style and needs. So much more than a functional space, the right design elements and careful attention to detail (such as cabinet door handles), a bathroom can be transformed into a serene space to escape the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life.

2021 has shown us that from modern to traditional, hotel luxe to minimalist, bathrooms can be every bit as aesthetically inspiring as the rest of your home.

Here are seven bathrooms that we love.

1. Bathroom Interior: White Sands

White Coastal Bathroom

Featuring our Queslett Square Knob in our polished nickel plate finish.

Natural light bounces around this airy coastal-inspired bathroom by White Sands. The considered use of whites and light greys, paired with the clever mirror placement and double vanity, creates the feeling of space in abundance - a perfect scene to relax and unwind in. Our Queslett Square Knob (available with or without backplate) in our polished nickel plate finish provides a subtle design statement, with the backplate echoing the geometric cabinet panelling and lighting backplates.

2. Bathroom Interior: Rachael Somerville

If you are a regular reader of The Journal, you will know we are big fans of Rachael Somerville and her signature aesthetic that combines all that is quintessentially British with modern, family-friendly living.

 Bathroom Vanity Unit

Featuring our Bromsgrove Pull in our satin antique satin lacquered finish and our Claremont Vanity Mirror by Sophie Paterson.

This beautiful bathroom creates a spa-like sanctuary in Rachael’s home- with all of the exquisite detailing you would expect from a luxury hotel bathroom. The marble style floor continues onto the walls for a harmonious, spacious aesthetic, leaving the substantial vanity to take centre stage. The thematic use of sophisticated brass cabinet hardware is seen throughout- from the exquisite shower trim to the beautiful Claremont Vanity Mirror by Sophie Paterson.

3. Bathroom Interior: The Secret Drawer Yorkshire

Bathroom with bold wallpaper

Featuring our Cotswold Ball Knob in our matt black lacquered finish.

At Armac Martin our cabinet door knobs can be purchased individually as a single piece of hardware, which works perfectly in this playful cloakroom by The Secret Drawer Yorkshire. Our Cotswold Ball Knob in our matt black lacquered finish works seamlessly with the matt black sink fittings and accessories and provides a brilliant contrast against the striking pattern and colour on the walls.

4. Bathroom Interior: Brucks & Co

Double Vanity Bathroom Unit

Featuring our Kingsheath Pull & T-Bar in our antique brass lacquered finish.

The matt black hardware trend has evolved in to a desire for a wide range of darker finishes being used across a full complement of design aesthetics. By introducing contrast through bathroom cabinet handles and knobs, you can create an elegant juxtaposition with the muted colour palettes we often see in bathrooms.

We love how the natural tone of the wooden cabinets and the harmonious use of symmetry creates a sense of balance and calm in this Brucks & Co bathroom. Our Kingsheath T-Bar cabinet knobs echo the shape of the matt black taps, whilst the sleek marble top vanity complements the white walls for an effortlessly chic finish.

5. Bathroom Interior: Bloomsbury Design

Wooden Vanity Unit with Brass HardwareFeaturing our Kingsheath Pull in our matt black lacquered finish.

Once again, in this beautiful bathroom designed by Jack Creasy of Bloomsbury Design, we see matt black cabinet handles working to create a subtle contrast against the natural wood vanity. Different textures of wood accent the space in the wooden beams, barn door and elegant panelling creating a covetable bathroom with an enviable sense of warmth, accentuated by the amber accessories.

6. Bathroom Interior: Lux Interiors

Double bathroom vanity with brass knobs

Brass Cabinet KnobsFeaturing our Carlton Knob in our satin brass satin lacquered finish.

The epitome of luxury, this Lux Interiors bathroom uses marble seamlessly across the floor and walls for a truly opulent effect. Brass bathroom cabinet knobs teamed with brass accessories add to the sense of luxury, and the incredible skylight window provides a heavenly focus when lying in that magnificent bathtub.

7. Bathroom Interior: Natasha Levak

 White Bathroom Vanity

White bathroom vanity with chrome handlesFeaturing our Belgrave Pull & Knob in our polished chrome plate finish

Chrome remains a popular choice for bathrooms, as presented in this master ensuite by Natasha Levak. Deco lines on the feature mirror work elegantly with the deco feet details on the double vanity, and the muted palette of whites and greys creates a sense of space. A stone pillar with feature urn introduces a real sense of grandeur and majesty whilst the dried flowers maintain that contemporary touch.
