Each of our switches features a solid brass faceplate that has a 3.7mm depth, which is larger than standard. Our single switches have a width of 100mm and our double switches have a width of 160mm. Due to the oversized nature of our faceplates, consideration should be given to the placement of these products near skirting, architrave and mouldings.
Our electrical switches are available as:
Toggles: Also known as a dolly switch, these are typically chosen for more traditional interiors. The toggles are pushed up or down to operate and are available in 1, 2, 3 and 4 gang configurations, in addition to retract to centre options.
Dimmers: These switches feature a rotary dimmer that is turned to dim or brighten the lighting and is pushed in or out to turn the lights on or off. Our dimmers are available in 1, 2, 3 and 4 gang configurations.
Rockers: A popular choice for more contemporary interiors, these products feature a curved switch that is pushed up or down into the on or off position. Our rockers are available in 1, 2, 3 and 4 gang configurations, in addition to retract to centre options.
Our toggles and rockers are also available in a range of switch types:
2-Way: This switch can also be used as a 1-way switch and enables you to operate a single light from two different locations by installing two separate 2 way switches where one switch turns the light on, and the other turns the light off. These switches are typically installed on hallways and landings.
Intermediate: This switch should be used in a lighting circuit where three or more switches control a single light. It is typically installed in the middle of a circuit between two 2 way switches, allowing a single light to be controlled from three or more different locations.
Double pole: This switch is commonly used for higher rated appliances. Unlike single pole switches they disconnect both the live and neutral wires, ensuring a safer environment when working on or near the appliance. This switch can also be used as a single pole.
Retract to centre: This switch features a rocker or toggle that sits in the centre of the faceplate and is inactive when not in use. The rocker or toggle will return to this position once pressed up, for example to open or lower an electric blind.
Our switches are available in a range of gang options (1, 2, 3 and 4 G), which refers to the number of modules / switches the product features and the subsequent number of lights it can control. For example, a 2 gang rocker switch will have two switches that operate two separate lights.
