We recommend a professional tradesman to help install your hardware. If this is not possible, each piece comes complete with screws so you can fix your hardware yourself. For rear fix hardware, simply measure your centre hole(s) accurately, drill your hole(s) and then screw your hardware in securely. Our handles are supplied with a M4 snapoff bolt so you will need to drill a 4.2mm hole for clearance. For face fix hardware, accurately mark the screw hole positions and drill a small pilot hole before fixing the handles. If you get stuck, please give us a call 0121 359 2111 and we’d be happy to help.
Yes, we do. Once you have completed the trade account request form (see Q&A above), a member of our sales team will reach out to you to confirm your trade discount.
A lacquer is an organic coating that forms a protective layer between the brass and the environment to prevent the oxidation process and the finish changing over time. Brass naturally oxidises over time which can change the finish of your product.
A lacquered finish has a protective coating. Brass naturally oxidises over time which can change the finish of your product. This change can create a beautiful aged patina. A lacquer is an organic coating that forms a protective layer between the brass and the environment to prevent the oxidation process and the finish changing over time. The choice is based on personal preference.
Both lacquered and unlacquered are suitable. Lacquered finishes are most suitable in high-usage areas if you do not wish for the finish to change. Unlacquered finishes are equally suitable but please note, the finish will age and change over time.

Our samples are only available in our Polished brass unlacquered (PBUL) finish as this is the easiest for our team to refinish, making it the most economical and sustainable choice. You will have the option to add finish chips samples if you wish to see a different finish.
For lacquered finishes, we recommend the occasional use of a soft cloth. Abrasive cleaning products should never be used as they will escalate the speed in which the lacquer breaks down. For plated (unlacquered) finishes, we recommend the occasional use of a soft cloth and the use of a quality metal polish will help preserve the finish. For non-plated (unlacquered) finishes, we recommend the occasional use of a soft cloth and the use of a quality metal polish will help preserve the finish if highly polished. Our antique unlacquered finishes are designed to naturally oxidise overtime.
Yes, all of our finishes can be used in bathrooms.
