2023 Highlights

2023 Highlights

As we say farewell to 2023, we’ve been looking back at what has been a wonderful year for Armac Martin.

From the launch of new collections including Grove and Cocktail to partnering with United in Design and revealing a new look for our Birmingham head office, we’ve had lots to celebrate over the last 12 months.

Read on to discover our highlights - and some exciting news for the New Year, too.

Grove collection launch

2023 began with the launch of our second collaboration collection with eminent British interior designer, Sophie Paterson. Inspired by the beauty of bamboo, the Grove collection draws on one of nature’s most iconic forms to bring a tactile, timeless appeal to interiors.

Receiving our Queen’s Award

In April we were delighted to receive our Queen's Award for International Trade from Vice Lord Lieutenant, Helen Higson. Marking a year on from the official announcement, being presented with the prestigious award was a true honour and served as a reminder of the incredible achievement we've accomplished.

New accessories

A forever favourite in kitchens, our Cotswold collection evokes countryside charm, and over the summer we extended our offering with the launch of our Cotswold pot and towel rails. These traditional designs effortlessly balance elegance and functionality and we’ve enjoyed seeing them styled across so many projects.

United in Design partnership

Aligning with our mission to support a more ethical and equal industry, this year we are proud to have partnered with United in Design - a charitable organisation addressing the need for more diversity within the interior design industry.

Office makeover

We’ve been proudly based in Birmingham since 1929, and this year, we transformed our head office into a more inspiring and comfortable environment for the team. With features like a new standing meeting table to move us away from our desks and encourage a more collaborative way of working, to the addition of a private pod for those who have external calls and need a silent space, we’re all thoroughly enjoying working in the new office.

New additions

Over the summer months we launched new additions to both our Queslett and MIX collections. First up, we added additional sizes to our Queslett handles, creating longer cup pull handles for added impact - and not only this, the new sizes were a first as the most extended cup handles on the market. We later launched the addition of hooks to our interchangeable MIX collection providing even more ways to personalise your interior accessories.

Cocktail collection launch

October saw the launch of our most decadent collection yet, Cocktail - a trio of indulgent design stories inspired by Birmingham’s celebrated cocktail district. We attended Decorex to showcase the collection to our UK audience for the first time and celebrated with customers and designers by hosting a daily cocktail hour at our stand.

WestEdge

Our final trip of the year took us overseas as we flew to LA to attend the wonderful WestEdge Design Fair. We had an inspiring week presenting our new collections and products to our US audience, alongside visiting many of our customer showrooms.

2024 incoming…

It’s been a truly brilliant year and we can’t wait for what we know will be an equally exciting 2024 as we debut our range of luxury brass switches and sockets and several bathroom accessories, some of which have been designed in collaboration with Sophie Paterson.

All that’s left is to wish you a very happy and healthy New Year. To be the first to hear what’s happening at Armac Martin in 2024, sign up for our mailing list.
